Things You Didn't Know About the Immune System

A couple of days ago, I told you I'd teach you ALL about the immune system.

Why?

Because, the past five years of chaos and botched science it's this made it CLEAR that far too many are in the dark about WHAT the immune system actually is.

And if we never fully learn HOW our bodies work, we'll be fueled by fear and trapped by deceit in how to protect it.

Far too many humans don't know the difference between their kidneys and their bladder...

Or know that the brain is an antenna, not a storage device...

Or how fat is "burned' through breath, not in just in sweat or poop...

And the list goes on and on...

When I first became a coach back in 2004, I had a sort of internal promise:

I was committed to training my clients SO well that someday they could become my competition, with all the knowledge they'd need to thrive.

And that commitment is still in my heart with all of you as my devoted readers.

I want to arm YOU with the tools you need to thrive, no matter the situation.

So...on to the immune system...

70% of this vital system lives in your gut.

One of the MANY reasons we talk about gut health so much around here!

I mean...

If the gut is responsible for immunity, and digestion, and mental health, and and and...

Why wouldn't we give it our full attention?!

That said, gut balance is the key supporting your body's natural immune defenses.

Here's how:

Your gut wall houses millions of immune cells that work alongside beneficial bacteria to:

-Identify potential threats

-Train your immune response

-And maintain whole-body wellness

So it would only make sense to build a robust, and diverse, gut microbiome in order to maintain optimal wellness all year round, right?

And as we've been discussing, your gut requires food, beneficial bacteria, movement, and stress management to keep it healthy.

However, it doesn't work alone.

See, the 'system' that is your immunity is an interweaving flow between various systems in the body.

Hence the reason, TRUE immunity is a holistic practice.

Not an independent idea.

So tomorrow, we're going to dive into another system that doesn't get ENOUGH attention:

The Lymphatic System.

What you'll begin to see is that waiting UNTIL you get sick to support your immunity is SO much harder than supporting it BEFORE you need it.

Because getting sick, and being knocked down, is a sign that you've waited TOO long to address the underlying causes of dis-order.
